1. Knowledge
- Having general knowledge of the Basic Principles of Marxism - Lenin; Revolutionary Line of the Communist Party of Vietnam; Ho Chi Minh Thought and basic scientific knowledge for Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Technology.
- Having solid knowledge in analog electronics engineering fields, digital electronics, electronic circuit design, digital signal processing, data transmission techniques, power electronics, automatic control theory, structure and computer coupling, microprocessors and microcontrollers...
- Analyzing the principles and operation of communication systems, industrial communication networks, and control devices: measurement and control by computers, pneumatic control, hydraulic ... in reality applications.
- Having knowledge of designing, manufacturing, operating and exploiting industrial electronic equipment, industrial communication networks, programming electronic devices and automatic control systems,
2. Skills
- Designing and simulating electronic circuits with small and medium scale on computers, constructing of electronic circuits.
- Microcontroller programming, PLC controlling industrial automation systems.
- Designing, manufacturing, installing, operating and repairing industrial electronic systems.
- Scientific researching, technology transfering in industrial electronics field.
- Having ability to manage the production of enterprises in the field of industrial electronics.
- English or Chinese language ability reaching level 3/6 of language competency framework of Vietnam and Informatics technology training standard framework meets the requirements of the major. 
3. The level of autonomy and responsibility
- Having ability to set up working groups, planning, coordinating and promoting individual and collective intelligence in implementing projects in the field of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Technology.
- Having ability to guide and supervise other people to perform tasks
- Having ability to make conclusions about professional issues, common business and some complex issues related to technology and engineering of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Technology sector.
4. Position and ability to work after graduation
After graduation, students can take the position:
- Engineer in designing, repairing, operating electronic and communication systems, automatic control systems at electronic and communication factories.
- Managing production and maintenance groups of electronic equipment, automatic control, communication equipment.
- Working in the technical department of factories producing, assembling, and guarantying electronic, communication and automation equipment.
- Researchers of mechanical research institutes and centers.
- Teaching, scientific researching in the field of electronic and telecommunication in training institutions.
5. Training time and volume of knowledge
- Training time: 4 years
- Total knowledge of the course: 145 credits (excluding knowledge of National Defense Education, Physical Education, complementary knowledge)
